Part time GOD

As I was walking down the street

An old man was sitting at corner, like shivering skinny meat

Everyone around, were walking with his or her swift feet

Running to their offices, to fill the time sheet

 

To those faces so concrete

This old man’s existence, was simply very obsolete

Like it was a rugged bicycle seat

It felt someone have erased his presence by pressing the ‘shift’ and ‘delete’

 

I went to him and said ‘Uncle can I sit with you, although’

‘It’s not my business to ask you, but it felt that you are feeling very low’

He said ’ Son, you have come to me like a snow’

‘Volcano within me, was about to burst out and flow’

‘I had no one else to talk with, you know !’

 

He told me some small stories he had, which were unsaid

‘Son because of you, today I’ll sleep with a very peaceful head’

‘I’m so very relived to talk with you ’ he said

‘May you get the best in life and God’s  bless’

 

That felt so good, I must confess

That I don’t have a single word to express

But it was puzzling me , nevertheless

As if my thoughts were playing, a game of chess

 

Why did the old man, felt happy talking to me?

I’m not ‘Mother Teresa’ or any kindness tree

 

I’m just another, may be, a semi decent guy

Like everyone I’m materialistic, sometimes cunning and shy

I did nothing great, for that old guy

I just sat with him for five minutes, instead of passing by

 

But now when I deeply think

 

May be my random act of kindness, was not that odd

May be for him, I became that divine and connecting cod

That gave him happiness and a peaceful nod

For that very moment, I felt like a part time GOD.

She has that energy and innocence that is going to
Charm you so much so, that you fall into
Love her again and you want to
Hug her tenderly, with your full arms view

And then suddenly realising out of blue
It’s nothing but a déjà vu
Your childhood was exactly, like this dolphin’s rainbow shoe
But you have become cunning growing up, If you deeply look into
This is so very sad, but very very true
Do you now realize that DOLPHIN IS NO ONE ELSE, BUT YOU?

When the rest three, see the comfort zone
This one alone, has vision to stand on their own
To have the balls, to face the danger zone

Biggest risk in life is, not taking any risk at all
At least start taking the baby steps and start something small
If we are always worried about, ‘ what if we fail and fall’?
Then I wonder,
How would have ‘Sachin’ hit those hundred centuries, if he was scared of that cricket ball?

DO something, before you are too old to even TRY

Every time I walk out my home, to take a breeze
There are always some sleazy men, who are there to EVE tease
Give me the power ‘Oh my lord ‘, that time please
That I could burn those dirty men and make them freeze
SO I could hit them hard , between their knees

Am I just worth a sleazy comment and vulgar tease?
How long should I remain the victim of that frustrated man’s, s*xual starvation and disease?
I refuse to being cut every day, from an ugly knife like a cheese.
I want to feel strong again, like I please
Want to inhale that freedom air again, from those trees.

My teacher once called me ‘a DUMB’, cos I learned my grammar lessons slow
Wait a little my dear teacher, before you see me hosting the biggest talk show

Everyone would try and run u down somehow, with their logic and rational flow
Listen to all of them; consume their hard words, punches and blow
But believe in yourself and don’t let it go
Tortoise still wins the race, even If the rabbit puts the most glamorous show
